Our Parents

Our school enjoys a strong partnership with parents. Parents are encouraged to be fully involved in the life of the school. Some parents are Executive members of the Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A.) while others support the different school educational activities.

The Parent Teacher Association of Loreto Junior School Curepipe is a very active group that exists to support the Principal and Staff in the activities of the school and to promote a spirit of friendship and cooperation within the school community. The P.T.A organizes social functions and fundraising activities. Parents are encouraged to attend the annual general assembly and to support the association.

Some of the activities organized by the PTA include:

·        Sports’ Day- runs school catering for the day

·        A bingo night

·        Sponsors partly the ‘Colonie de Vacances’ for Grade 5 pupils

·        Selling of refreshments during concert night
